Asia’s Renowned Design Award
The Asia Design Prize is an award that recognizes outstanding work across various categories such as product design, visual design, spatial design, and more. The prize welcomes entries from designers, design studios and companies from Asia “to discover excellent Asia-based social designs” so they can be noticed by the world. (Source: Asia Design Prize)
Starting from 2016, the prize’s organizer, DESIGNSORI, has strived to accomplish the goal by pursuing 3 core values: Connected, Human, and Fair. The organizers believe that there are more designs and designers that deserve to be found and awarded, so they strive to connect them with other humans with a fair standard.
Connected
With the long experience of the award organizer, ADP seeks to connect the art and design works to be discovered and connected to people. One of the methods it achieves the goal is through hosting online exhibitions.
